Tiana McGee is the founder and visionary behind Elevation Academy. Her path is diverse, dynamic, and deeply rooted in service, leadership, and creativity.  

 

Tiana began her medical journey as a certified pharmacy technician then eventually onto the position of a Corporate Pharmacy Trainer for a major retail pharmaceutical company. The profession enabled her to learn more about the industry while later working for both mail order and health systems pharmacy. Her clinical experience also includes training in Ultrasound Cardiovascular Sonography and working as a Lab Technician in a fitness performance lab, where she tested athletes and optimized client performance.  She leaned into her discovered gift for teaching and developing others and transitioned into education.   She became a Program Director and Department Chair for multiple pharmacy technician programs, creating and developing curricula, obtaining programmatic accreditation, and eventually designed her own online Pharmacy Technician Training Program.

Tiana’s passion for learning and advancing in her field inspired her to pursue higher education, earning her associate’s, bachelor’s, and master’s degrees in Anatomy & Physiology Instruction. She is currently advancing her education in medical school, continuing her dedication to lifelong learning.

 

Tiana is not only an educator, entrepreneur, and curriculum developer, but also a champion for youth who need direction, support, and opportunities to discover their potential. Through her own experiences—growing up without the guidance or resources needed—Tiana felt called to create something she wished she had. She built Elevation Academy to give students access to practical skills, hands-on learning, and real insight into the healthcare world.  

 

Tiana’s mission is simple: to elevate the next generation by giving them the information, exposure, and encouragement they need to build a future they’re proud of. To help the next generation avoid the uncertainty she once faced.

Beyond healthcare, Tiana is a multi-talented creative. She has performed as a background singer for renowned artists such as Fred Hammond, Marvin Sapp, Dietrich Haddon, Tye Tribbett, Erica Campbell, and more. Her artistic passions include photography, digital editing, songwriting, producing, and artist management.  

 

Tiana is deeply rooted in family and faith in everyday moments. She finds joy in cooking for her husband and children, supporting and cheering on her children in their academic and athletic pursuits, and creating a home centered on growth and encouragement. As a homeschool parent, she believes learning doesn’t stop at the classroom door. In her downtime, she enjoys action and sci-fi films, fitness and cooking competition shows, and podcasts that fuel creativity and purpose.
